About: My Mistress Muse

Collin McClarnie is a poet whose roots are in Ireland. He has had collections of poetry published under a different name, and in this blog ‘My Mistress Muse’ he is on a journey to explore the passion and creativity between the Artist and the Muse. My Mistress Muse, is Collin’s Newest Collection of Poetry. Though all these poems are copyright 2009 Collin McClarnie, his desire is to get feedback from readers, that he can also publish in the book of the same title to come out in mid 2010.

Enjoy, read, and give feedback to Collin for his newest project.

Thanks

Wow, I recognize all those thoughts and feelings. You definately capture the passion and creativity between the Artist and the Muse. When my muse and I parted, I thought I’d die and never write again. But, when certain music plays, I am there again and words flood me.
    Good luck with your book.

      Thanks, My friend.

It is amazing how certain songs, and smells, and moments bring the Muse and memories of her quickly.
I appreciate your comment. I have not lost her yet, but I am certain i will, it is life, but I am excited about the thought of you and the music, and I will remember it when the times comes.

      Cheers, my friend

  2. I’ve enjoyed your entries so much. I wish there were more to read and hope that the loss of your muse doesn’t mean a loss of your writings. I would love some information on your published works as well as the project that was due out sometime mid-year. Hope to read more of you soon!

Thanks for your very encouraging comment.

‘My Mistress Muse’ is not done yet, and my Muse is not gone.
Life has become very busy, and I have had to truly fight to write, I am working a few projects and I have written more posts for MMM, and will start posting them.

I have been doing a lot of traveling, a lot of work, and have hit many unseen forks in the road.

But, with the breaking through of a new season, I am breaking through and coming into the new season refreshed, revitalized, romanced…

I am hoping that the next season of posts help do some of those things for you.

    Cheers, my friend.
